Set up the dashboard on your TV or a big screen in 3 steps
In this article I'll guide you through 3 easy steps how to set the dashboard for TV.

1. Open any browser on any big screen
You can run PresentBoard on any screen, but the only prerequisite is that it runs a web browser.
- Use any smart TV's browser,
- streaming sticks like Roku and Chromecast with Google TV,
- or any other streaming providers like Apple TV.
Once you have chosen your device, select a browser. Your device usually offers several browsers, and I recommend using one of the most common browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox as they are the most stable. You can also try and test any other browser. I tested multiple browsers on Google TV, and PresentBoard runs smoothly on most of them.

2. Open PresentBoard App on the Big Screen and Prepare Your Laptop
Open the PresentBoard App by typing "presentboard.app" in your browser's URL bar on your big screen. After it loads, open the app with the top right button.
You now have two options for working with the dashboard:
- You can start adding widgets with a remote control, but it's not recommended as it's inconvenient.
- The better way is to set up your dashboard on your laptop and load it up on your big screen as you log in.
Set Up PresentBoard for Your Big Screen on a Laptop
Open PresentBoard on your laptop Open PresentBoard on your laptop as well and zoom out to ensure you see the same number of grid boxes on your laptop as you see on your big screen (see image below). This ensures your dashboard fills all the boxes once it's loaded on the bigger screen.

3. Set Up Widgets on Your Laptop, Log In, and You're Done!
As shown in the video below, you can set up your dashboard widgets on your laptop using your imagination.
Once the dashboard widgets are all set up on your laptop, make sure to log in so your widget configuration gets stored in the cloud. After you log in on both devices, your dashboard will automatically synchronize and load onto your bigger screen.
Find Your Dashboard and Make It Default
If you don't see your synchronized dashboard right away on your bigger screen, you can refresh the page. This will trigger immediate synchronization, and then you can browse through the next dashboards in case you have more than one.
In the dashboard settings, you can set any of the dashboards to be your default for the current device. A different dashboard can be shown by default on your laptop, TV, or smartphone.
